Qiang Shan Ba Gua Zhang Introductory Seminar

Blue Dragon Martial Arts and Bodywork presents an Introduction to the Art of Qiang Shan Ba Gua Zhang and the Animal Postures.  This seminar will cover many of the basic principles and fundamentals of this fantastic internal art.  Some of these include Yin and Yang, Ba Gua (Continuous Change), Wu Hsing (Five elements or phases), San Bao and Wuji to name a few.

The majority of the seminar will be about the first four Animal Postures of Qiang Shan Ba Gua Zhang. These postures are both internal Qi Gong and martial movement at its best.  These animals will be taught using the concepts of Natural Principles and the San Bao, or trinity of Jing (physical), Qi (energetics and breath) and Shen (spirit and mind).  Both the energetic and martial applications of these postures will be explored.

The Instructors, from Master Bok Nam Park, presenting this seminar will be Shifu Eric Lawman and Shifu Glen Moore, bringing forward 77 years of combined experience in martial arts.  Shifu Lawman is the President of the Qiang Shan Ba Gua Zhang Association, and Shifu Moore is one of only three Senior Instructors in the art under Master Park.  The primary instructor will be Shifu Lawman with Shifu Moore assisting.  We look forward to seeing you there for this great introduction to the art of Qiang Shan Ba Gua Zhang.
